CSI Past Characters
Gil Grissom (William Petersen)
Gil Grissom as born on 1th August 1956. An only child, his ather died when he was just 9 years old. He grew up to be the youngest coroner in the history of L.A. county at the age of 22 and decided to become a CSI becaused "The dead can't speak for themselves". Grissom is now married to former fellow CSI Sara Sidle. In 2000 Grissom was appointed the position of graveyard shift supervisor at CSI after Jim Brass was moved back to L.V.P.D. as homicide captain when Rookie CSi Holly Gribbs as shot while working at a crime scene. A well known entemologist he was close to all members of his team although he did have his disagreements and professional clashes with them at times. Grissom was closest to Catherine, Sara, Warrick Brass and Doc Robbins. Grissom retired as a CSI in 2009 and followed Sara Sidle to Costa Rica, some time after that they got married. Grissom and Sara maintain a long distance relationship with Sara no working back at the crime lab in Las Vegas and Grissom travelling thr world lecturing and doing research.
Warrick Brown (Gary Dourdan)
Warrick brown was born on 10th October 1971 in Las Vegas, is fact he is the only member of the team to be born and raised in Las Vegas. Warricks mother died when he was 7 years old and he never knew his father. He as raised by his grandmother and his Aunt Bertha. Warrick has good working relationships and was friends with everyone at CSI and thought of them as his family. His relationship with Sara Sidle as strained in the beginning though. Warrick was particularly close to Grissom, Catherine (Catherine had a crush on WArrick and hoped they would get together someday but those hopes were dashed when Warrick married after a whirlwind romance)and Nick. Warriks career as a CSI was not ithout it's complications, he had a gambling habit and almost lost his job when RookeCSI Holly Gribbs as shot and killed at a crime scene after he left her alone there. Warrick was shot and killed by Undersherriff Mckean in the season 8 finale/season 9 premier. Divorced from his wife he left behind a young son and his devastated colloeagues /"Family" at CSI.
Sofia Curtis (Louise lombard)
Sofia Curtis was originally a dayshift CSI and then moved to the P.D. as a detective. Not much is known about Sofia but if I find out more information I ill add it. Sofia was one fo the officers suspected of killing a fellow police officer in the two-part story "A Bullet Runs Through It" although in the end she was exhonerated. Sofia got one well with all the CSI team and her colleagues at the P.D. she had an easy going but no-nonsense personality and was a good honest cop.
Wendy Simms (Liz Vassey)
Wendy Simms was born in October 1972 and was the DNA Tech at the Las Vegas Crime Lab. It is not known hy Wendy became a scientist but it is believed that she was influenced by and uncle who was also worked in forensics. In her later episode appearances wendy worked out in the field. Wendy had a good personality and got on well with everyone at the Crime lab she also flirted with Hodges who had a serious crush on her and hoped that something would come of it. Wensy left the Las Vegas crime lab in season 11 to go and work elsewhere as a CSI after Ecklie refused to let her go out in the field permanantly.
Dr Raymond Langston (Laurence Fishbourne)
Dr Raymond Langston was offered the job as a level 1 CSI by Gil Grissom following his involvement in the case of the "Dick & Jane Killer" Nate Haskell. Langston specialized in criminal behaviour but turned out to be a good CSI albeit making a few mistakes along the way. He got on well with his colleagues at CSI and quickly became friends with them and they all ralleighed to keep his head off the chopping block when Langston killed Nate Haskell at the end of season 11. Langston leaves following this incident and is revealed at the beginning of season 12 to be in Baltimore with his former wife Gloria. It is not known whether Langston left CSI of his own accord or whether he was fired, viewers have been left to make up their own minds about that but in S12-E01 Doc Robbins is heard saying tha he has a second chance at happiness with Gloria and his moving on from his experience with Nate Haskell.
Riley Adams (Lauren Lee Smith)
Riley Adams was born on 10th October 1979 to parents ho ere both psychologists. She joined law enforcement to rebel against her parents as it is believed that they may have wanter her to have a career in psychology as well. Riley came to the Las Vegas crime lab as Warrick Browns replacement after Warrick was murdered by the corrupt Undersherriff Mckean. Riley got on well with her colleagues and is not easily intimidated. Riley only appeared in one season of CSI apparantly due to the fact that she was unhappy with Catherines leadership and the lack of communication and unitiy within the team. Viewers did not see Riley leave but at the beginning of season 10 Catherine is shon reading a report from Riley about her reasons for leaving.
